Website Domain Registration & Hosting

All sites come with hosting and a free .co.uk domain name. You can have any available name registered to you and we take care of the whole process. All you have to do is decide on the domain name you want. You can check availability at names.co.uk

If you already have a domain, then this will need to be transferred but we can take care of this for you or can provide you with the information you require to sort the transfer yourself.

Transferring a .co.uk domain is usually quite straight forward and very often free of charge although some hosts may charge a fee of around £10 - £15 for this.

.com and other domains can be a little more complicated but we can still usually do this for you. There is a charge of £15 for transferring this type of domain.

Our hosting set up

All sites are hosted on our dedicated server which is managed by Names Co, generally regarded as one of the UK's best hosting companies.

Having a dedicated server ensures there are no 'unsavoury' sites hosted on the same server as your site which impact on the searches. The server is located in a secure location in the UK with state of the art comms to ensure fastest loading times from the server (although they can't do much about the connection speed at the other end!).

We keep hourly backups of all our files locally and Names Co perform additional weekly backups of both the sites and the databases for additional peace of mind.
